About us

GamePathfinderHub covers free competitive games for PC and console. The genre is well served by guides and badly served by honest first impressions, so that is the gap we work in: what it actually costs, in time and patience, to reach the point where a game becomes good.

How we test

Every review starts from a new account with nothing purchased. We play at least twenty hours per title, across peak and off-peak hours, and record queue times, matchmaking behaviour and how the game treats an obvious newcomer.

What the rating covers

• Entry cost in time — how long before the game is genuinely playable.
• Fairness — whether anything sold in the game affects the outcome of a match.
• Match quality — queue times, stability and skill matching.
• Durability — whether we were still queueing a month later.

Independence

No publisher pays for a listing or a rating here, and we run no affiliate arrangements with the studios we cover. We buy nothing during testing, so what we describe is the free experience.

We do not host games

Every launch link opens the publisher's own site. Nothing is embedded or streamed from this domain, and we will never ask you for game account credentials.

Corrections

Live games change every season. If an entry no longer matches the current build, tell us through the contact form and we will update the page rather than remove it quietly.
